When you’re so close, (in Reedsport, Oregon) you should stop by probably the most photographed Lighthouse in America.. Took a little side trip up the Oregon coast when heading back to Eugene for our Redeye flight back to Atlanta. Here some pictures around the lighthouse. Heceta Head Lighthouse Information: Station established 1894, tower height 56 feet, focal place 205 feet, lens Fresnel 1st Order and Visible at Sea for 21 Miles. The tour included a trip up the steps to the room with the windows just below the actual light.
You know I had to have a picture of me and the Heceta Head lighthouse. Have you wondered why all my pictures are showing me above my waist. Is it to hide my big belly, or the fact that I don’t wear pants when I travel.
