Chapco Design Build, a division of build-to-rent general contractor Jim Chapman Construction Group, says construction is now complete on the amenity package at Creekside Cottages, the 225-unit build-to-rent community on Society Hill Road in Opelika.
The amenity package includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, dog park and mail kiosk on the 39-acre site. Vertical construction on the homes began in May after land development wrapped up in January, and the community opened for leasing this summer.
Creekside Cottages is JCCG’s fourth collaboration with a publicly traded REIT and its first build-to-rent project in the Auburn-Opelika market. Full buildout has been planned at up to 303 total units.
