Weekend Recap & A Look Ahead

Nothing like grabbing that big cold for the weekend.  Kept me low profile on Friday, but I did get out to see “Always Patsy Cline” a fundraiser for the Museum of East Alabama held at the First Baptist Church.  I’ll come back on the post in a few days and give details of the cast of this group from South Alabama. It was a good show, and their next stop is Dothan. One of the cast members was a second grade teacher in Geneva, Alabama.   My teachers just didn’t look like that.

Ingrum, Rice and Parr, LLC will hold an open house for their renovation of the buildings on Avenue A, where the old Spin Clean (or even older Chinees Resturant) was located.  The outside looks great! It’s the best it’s looked in the 12 years I’ve lived in Opelika.   More on this later as well.
