No. 6 Auburn High opened its season with a 31-21 win over Choctawhatchee in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., on Friday night.
Elsewhere in the area, Loachapoka rolled past Lee-Scott Academy 33-14, LaFayette beat Beauregard 45-22 and Dr. Percy L. Julian edged Smiths Station 25-21.
