Traveling the Back Roads

Flicking Mill north of Baker Georgia on the back roads.I drove to Thomson for the reunion on the short route recommended by Google Maps.  Right up I-85 to Atlanta, then I-285 over to I-20.  I hate traveling the interstates.  And in the rain with Friday Traffic, it wasn’t a good drive for me. So coming back, I tool a route that Google said would take two hours longer.  It didn’t and it was very pleasent.  Lot’s of farms, cattle and pine trees.  As I rounded a corner coming down a hill, I came upon “Flicking Mill” and since I was the only car on the road, I was able to pull in for some pictures.  “I’ll put the rest of the pictures in the flicker pictures in the sidbar, or go search for Opelika Daily News in flicker to find them and more.  The rivers all were wild and rushing after all the rain of the past few days.
