I had Tivo with my Direct TV system last year. I love it! If you have something like Charter Cable you can get their DVR (Digital Video Recorder) or go with Tivo. Since I really don’t like writing that check to Charter, I’d rather pay a little more if I have to for the Tivo Service.
So about three months ago I ordered it. Got a refurbished Tivo Box for free and at $12.95 per month package plan and I’m home free. However, the box keeps freezing the dang TV. I send it back and the new box isn’t working either. It won’t activate, even though everything says it should be activated. Okay, I’ve made three calls to the Customer Service folks, which by the way are just up a local highway in Alabama toward Birmingham. The folks on the phone have been great, but I seem to have them all stumped. Anyway, I’m sending the second box back. So you ask, Would I recommend Tivo to anyone. Heck Yea! I’ve done it twice during this crazy broken box thing. Maybe if I were doing it again, I’d spend a buck or two for the new boxes, but all in all, I say Yes! Tivo is great! Order it Today!!
