First Look…

Kitchen Before Shot

So how’s the house project coming? I’ll be taking some “before” pictures in coming days. We’re just day’s from the official closing and ownership of this true “fixer upper”. Take for example this quick pic of the kitchen taken from the back door. Just to the left of the washer is a new found chimney (that would be one of three in the house) that we didn’t know was there. And that wall with the door in it, behind the washer is coming down in the “tear some walls out” phase of the project. Some new cabinets and appliances are in the future of this room. As much as I like the green flooring, some tile floors might better suit the overall plan. The first major changes that will be obvious from the street is the removal of a huge hedge out front. More on that later. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the Christmas events around town the next few days.
