Now let’s catch up on some stuff. I’ve got my five tickets to the Grand Slam for the Gala Night, on April 3rd at The Armory. If you got your ticket from me last year, make a comment above so I know if you want them for this year. There may be a few extra’s this year as folks are cutting back. Theme of this years event, “Luck Be a Lady Tonight!” Oh yea, I can use your check made out to OHPS yesterday!
If you remember, this event sponsored by the Opelika Historic Preservation Society is a drawn down of the 300 tickets sold. If you’re the last name called, it’s $10,000 to help in these tough economic times. Actually, money can be won if the group decides to split it all at 10. I’ll be there and maybe this will be my year.
