Talladega – Road Trip Day One

Turn 4 Tunnel to Infield Camping!Well, after picking Kim up at the Atlanta Airport we arrived at Talladega around 1PM Central time.  We headed over to the Infield staging Area to wait in line to get accross the track after some qualifing.  After a while, I notice the one other camper driving away and ran to find out if the knew something Kim and I were missing.  Well, apparenly, we could actually go to the Turn Four Tunnel and go on into the infield.  So we did.  That’s a picture of the entrance.  We’ve found a few other rules that aren’t so much the rules after you get here.   Anyway,we got the camp set, cooked some burgers for dinner, got a fire going and did a quick “walk about” to check out a few things.  More from the track on Saturday.
