For some reason, most of those I hang with on a regular basis, well the old gogers like me, don’t watch The Walking Dead. I however am totally into the show and have found it to be the only television I actually watch on it’s first run and not with a DVR. Imagine my pleasure last night to get into a thoughful conversation about the Mid Season Final from Sunday with a server at Niffer’s. Then of course, the ratings from the weekend:
And then there was The Walking Dead. The AMC hit’s midseason finale on Sunday night delivered 12.1 million total viewers, and 7.7 million in A18-49 for a 6.2 rating in the demo. That didn’t match the record-breaking 16.1 million viewers of the season premiere, but the zombie drama is still up 29 percent in the first half of the season versus season three. Post-show The Talking Dead delivered a series-high 6 million viewers. Walking Dead, the number one prime time show across cable and broadcast, returns for the rest of season four on Sunday, February 9 at 9p. (Source: Cynopsis Media)
