Summer’s Unofficial Arrival is Wednesday at Noon in Opelika

NoonTuesEvery Wednesday In May at Noon two things happen. The Lee County Emergency Management Office test the Severe Weather Sirens and Courthouse Square fills with folks to listen to music from various local artist. It’s a free lunchtime concert on the square. If you plan to come out, and why wouldn’t you, it should be Sunny and 75 Degrees, then bring a blanket or lawn chair. Several groups will have things to eat for sale from sweets to lunches. My buddies over at Jefferson’s have put a Half Wrap, Chips, Orange and Water together for a quick and easy $5 lunch. The folks at CharterBank provide the free Lemonaide. On tap for the May Events are Larcus FUller, AKA Sily Tones for this week, followed by Strawberry Whine, Muse and Martha’s Trouble
