Star Trek “A New Generation”

Okay folks. I’m a true Star Trek Fan.  I’ve watched  two showings of the new movie today (Friday) and enjoyed the new take on the old series.  It was a great stab at the look and feel of Star Trek TOS.  White hallways on the ship, familiar sights and sounds (but the tech stuff available today), The Enterprise looked more like it should have than the TV Version of Enterprise from the past few years.  Now J.J. Abrams had a really big budget to do the film.  He said it was required for him to do the look and feel required for the show.  I don’t think it’s a bad thing to bring someone new to the franchise for a fresh look, and he did it with us old guys in mind. It was Spock, Kirk, Bones, Scotty and the rest of the group.  Nicely Done!  Will I go back for a few more viewings before it comes out on DVD. Yea.  This isn’t a spoiler, but when the lady orders the drinks at the bar (in Iowa), check out the menu she’s holding. Yea, the pictures are changing!
