Some WebsiteUpdates

First, thanks to Charter Bank for renewing their support of the Opelika Daily News with their continuation of the ad you see in the sidebar to the right. Also, David Drummond, our painter friend that has joined the sponsor list for a few months. Also in the sidebar, you’ll find a link to the Opelika Public Schools. That banner ad is a public service contribution from the site, as a quick link to things going on in the Opelika School System.

Also, near the bottom of the sidebar is some activity in Congress on some watched bills and comments made on the floor of the Senate by Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions. And the status of the bill introduced by Mike Rogers for a tax credit for anyone that buys a car in 2009. I’ll take a closer look at that in another post.

Also, if you use the “Search” feature, you’ll find some hidden pages. Search “Onion” for the latest from Onion Radio, and Borowitz from some of the latest funny stuff from Andy. It’s a weekend to play with new features, that may or may not make the cut.
