Road Trip Dothan – 115 TCS Operations

Road Trip DothanWell, I headed down to Dothan Friday Afternoon for a breakfast (on Saturday) with some former Operations members of the 115 Tactical Control Squadron, a unit of the Air National Guard that I was in, when it was closed (and I retired) about 10 years ago or so.  It would good to see John Hodges, the Commander of the Unit when at a point after I became familiar with the unit, before actually joining.  Ed Marshall and Norm Herrin put the gathering together.  It was so good to see Ed again.  I’d worked with Ed while I was still in Savannahs 117 TCS for years via some data link exercises and more. Jim Bryant and others rounded out the brief breakfast with lots of great memories.  We gather again in July and I hope we can spend more than a few hours to catch up on old (former) Guard happenings.  I’ve got some pictures coming, so there will be more about the trip and those there in coming weeks.
