Retired Police Chief Shane Healey to Chair Opelika Chamber’s 2026 REACH Campaign

The Opelika Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 REACH Campaign opens Sept. 24 with retired Opelika Police Chief Shane Healey serving as this year’s campaign chair.

Healey spent his career serving and leading in Opelika, and the chamber pointed to his leadership experience and his relationships across the city’s business community in announcing the appointment. Four vice chairs will work alongside him: Rosanna McGinnis, John Reese, Nathan Kastner and Jeremy Gray.

REACH is the chamber’s business development program, an all-volunteer effort that develops leadership and raises the financial resources behind the chamber’s yearly work. It connects member businesses with sponsorship, advertising, branding and networking opportunities.

More on the campaign and how to take part is available through the Opelika Chamber.
