Okay, maybe I’m just caught up in the moment with the NFL Draft going on, or maybe it’s the Ad I’m buying in the Opelika Football Program for this coming Fall Season, but get ready, because we’re playing some football this coming week. Put this date on the calendar. Thursday, May 15th, it’s the Opelika Middle School Vs Benjamin Russell at 5:30 PM in Bulldog Stadium. And at 7:00 PM, Gadsden City is in town for a game against the High School DAWGS! The 9th Grade plays against Central on Friday at 6:00 PM also at Bulldog Stadium. All are spring games and mean that the end of the school year can’t be far away, which is May 29th for tht Half Day.
