Outback Gives It All to the Boys & Girls Club

Outback Steakhouse Host Lunch as Money RaiserBefore you get away for the Holiday Weekend, put this on your calendar for Tuesday when you return to work.  Stephen at Outback is doing a special lunch on Tuesday where every penny (not just after cost), but every penny raised will go the the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lee County.   Lunch is from 11AM till 2PM on Tuesday May 26th. You can eat in, or call head for take out.  You get a 5 oz Outback Special Sirloin and 4 oz grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and beans, plus tea or soft drink for $9.  Did I mention that all $9 goes to the Boy & Girls Club?  Now this is pretty unheard of to not take something to cover cost, but I think the local Outback is grateful to the community for the business, so it’s giving some back.   Now remember, if you go in, you might want to tip the serve staff.  Most are kids working their way thru college and that $2 tip would go a long way.  I’ll see you at Outback for lunch on Tuesday!

The event is officially being called, “Breaking in Summer” – A community party celebrating the beginning of summer vacation & Congratulating the Graduating Classes of 2009 from area high schools. ~ Thanks to Stephen and his staff for this great effort!
