The Opelika Public Library has been selected as one of 20 public libraries nationwide to host Pulitzer on the Road, a traveling exhibition presented by The Pulitzer Prizes in partnership with the American Library Association.
According to the American Library Association’s published tour itinerary, the exhibition will be on display in Opelika from Nov. 5, 2027 through Dec. 20, 2027, paired with Lexington Public Library in Kentucky in the tour’s seventh cohort. The library says a series of related special events will accompany the display, with programming to be announced in the coming months.
The exhibition gathers examples of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism, books, drama and music. Details on the Opelika run will be posted at opelikalibrary.com and on the library’s social media accounts.
