CHAMBERS COUNTY — An Opelika man has died of injuries he suffered in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 280 in Chambers County, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said.
The wreck happened about 1:13 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at the intersection of U.S. 280 and Seals Street, roughly two miles west of Waverly. ALEA said the man died Saturday, Aug. 29, nearly a week after the collision.
State troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate. The crash was reported by WTVM and WAKA 8.
