Mayor Gary Fuller presented Opelika Housing Authority Director Akinola Popoola with a Resolution of Appreciation at the October 20th City Council meeting. The resolution was presented to Mr. Popoola in recognition of his years of distinguished service and outstanding leadership to the Opelika Housing Authority, and for bringing high honor and national recognition to the City of Opelika, Alabama on his recent election as the President of the national Association of Housing Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) on October 6, 2009 in Washington, D.C.
