I’m not sure how many years Opelika has been doing the Farmers Market downtown. It began in the field next to the depot, moved to South Railroad Avenue and most recently landed it it’s new home at Courthouse Square. The move to that location was a good choice in my opinion. That being said, it returns on Tuesday from 3 til 6 PM. Don’t try and get their before they open to grab the first stuff, because vendors can’t sell until 3 PM. Of course there’s Fresh Veggies plus Baked Goods and on a hot day (which is most in the summer) the Overall Company has their Frozen Pops.
