Old Bank Downtown – Jackie’s

Well, John Marsh’s crew from Historic Possibilities has started work on the downtown home of Jackie’s Cards and Gifts. Jackie sold the building to John several months ago as he had an interest in the restoration of it. Plans call for a condo and roof garden on the third floor and roof, a condo (for sale) on the second floor and Jackie stays on the ground floor till she retires, which isn’t planned anytime soon folks! . Since the Holiday weekend has pretty much closed downtown, they began work over the weekend. I grabbed this shot between rain showers on Saturday Night!

More Downtown Restoration - Soon to be Condo's

I’ll grab some daytime photo’s later… As a matter of fact, I believe Henry Stern has some good shots of this building when it was a bank, and had a county office in the front office on the 2nd floor.
