Looking for Volunteers for the “Sticks”

Sticks Country Music Festival in Auburn

Velinda Weeles dropped me a note to share with you. V Says “I am the volunteer coordinator for Sticks Country. Just in case you are not familiar…Sticks Country Festival is the weekend of April 17th & 18th at Parker Hill in Auburn. 15 acts ranging from Sara Evans, Trace Adkins, Diamond Rio (go to stickscountry.com for complete line up and more information.) I am looking for several hundred…yes I said hundreds volunteers…to help with this event. Jobs range from taking up tickets, checking coolers for glass, selling cokes and water, selling Sticks Country merchandise, campground security, help in parking lots, etc. Volunteers will be asked to work 4 hours on Friday and 4 hours on Saturday in exchange for a weekend pass. Gates will open at 8am on Friday and 8am on Saturday so if someone wants to come out early Friday and Saturday morning and work then they had the rest of the day to enjoy the entertainment. Anyone interested can email me at v.wheeles@stickscountry.com or opelikamainst@aol.com“  Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, so give her a call and help out!
