After meeting John McAfee a few weeks ago and several times since then, I was disappointed to find I would be missing the #HCON conference in Opelika in April, as he is scheduled to speak. It is the same time I’ll be in Las Vegas for the NAB Show. When you cut thru all the stories that seem to surround John wherever he goes from his personal life, you miss the message he and his new companies are preaching. Now I’ve not been one to worry about keeping out of the public view. I’m always checking in on one social platform or another. But as you look at how open we are to other elements in society via our Smart Phones you begin to be a bit more cautious. He is on tap for two NAB events on Wednesday, April 15th, before the return to Opelika to close #HCON. First addressing the Technology Luncheon and then later in the day and panel discussion on “Protecting Our Assets: Cybersecurity and the Media” You can read more about #HCON here and his appearance at NAB 2015 here. If you’re not at NAB, plan to catch him back in Opelika as he speaks on April 16th. Check Out John’s Security Products at Future Tense Central!
