Jeremiah Cobb Leads Auburn Running Back Room into Senior Season

July 16, 2026 — Auburn, Alabama

Senior running back Jeremiah Cobb returns as the centerpiece of Auburn’s 2026 rushing attack. The Montgomery native made 11 starts in 2025, finishing with 969 yards and five touchdowns — including five 100-yard games — and earned Third Team All-SEC honors from the coaches.

Cobb, who chose to stay on the Plains rather than enter the transfer portal, will pair with new quarterback Byrum Brown in head coach Alex Golesh’s revamped offense. His return gives Auburn an experienced, proven running back as the Tigers look to build on their momentum heading into the season.
