After my posting of “Wally the Wonderdog” today, Jimmy (while scarfing down lots of boiled shrimp that he cooked up for a few of us at dinner) made the comment I should support local artist on my site and not some guy far away. Okay, I like Wally, so when I get a newsletter, I’ll probably post his latest, but, my real Favorite is “Pete the Cat!” After spending some time on his website, I found this print, which is pretty timely with all the talk of Episode Three the past week. Click on the image to go to the Pete site, where you Star Wars fans can buy the original art for this at just $950. Prints are cheaper, but that original for $950 seems pretty reasonable for me. Tell them I sent you, if you buy it, cause they may send me a print for my collection!! Or better yet, we need a “Pete the Cat at Fellowship”, with his attendance on the Friday Front Proch Event!! The caption on the site for this is: “Do or Don’t. There is no try, Pete.”
