Geek Tech Update

Every now and then I run accross some program or service on the internet that I really like. Something that helps the productivity at work.  This month I have to tell you about a free add on for your Microsoft Outlook.  The service is called Xobni, which is inbox spelled backwards.  Bascially, the program tracks your emails, who sends them to you, what common friends you have and has an increadable and fast search to find that specific email you’ve lost.  In that thumbnail to the right, i’ve got an email from Bob Meadows highlighted.  Xobni tells me otherrs that Bob communicates a lot with.  Click the picture and it’s a bit more readable. You’ll see that a guy name Gurmeet is number one on our common list. Makes sense, as he’s our supervisor at work and Bob is as big a Brown Noser as I am.  I guess this program proves it.  Under that is a list of “Conversations, or email by subject”.  Now I can go on about this, but you should probably just check out their website, watch the demo and download the free copy. I’ve used it for several months and it works fine.  There’s another report that shows how many emails you get and send. Check it out and you may find out what is causing some problems with your produtivity. TOO MANY EMAILS! Go to www.xobni.com!
