Father’s Day 2006

No Ties in This FamilyDaughter Jen and Husband Scott came into Opelika today for an early celebration of Father’s Day. I’ve got a great Pig Catapult to add to my Father’s Day gift collection. No ties in this family, by gosh.

We also headed out to Salem Antiques and picked up something I spotted for additional counter space in the kitchen. With a quick visit to Buffalo Wild Wings, Koplon’s and the Ice Cream Shop at Tiger Town, we headed back to watch a movie and crash early. Also hung that “Pepper’s” art work I won in the bidding at the Red Cross auction earlier in the month. It looks just great in the kitchen. Also hung some Tazwell stuff I’ve had around the house for a while.

If you’re a new visitor to the site, you can go back and read what I had to say about my Dad on last years post! Gosh, has it been a year?
