Countdown to the Big Four O!

You know, I’ve not been back in Thomson, Georgia for 40 years other than an occasional drive thru a few times in the past 20 years.  When I graduated from Thomson High School in 1968, I moved to Savannah and never looked back.  We had 120 or so folks that graduated then, and the reunion next week will find about 40 of us back for the party. Ten won’t return due to their untimely death.   Former sweetheart Penny has tried to catch me up on Facebook of some that may be there.  We’ve got a few preachers in the group, I suspect to counter what I’ve become. Having gained 150 pounds since High School, I hope those in attendance will still find me in this fat little body. It’s next weekend, and I am excited. Thomson was a great place to go to High School and begina career in radio at WTWA.  More on that later.
