Big Holiday Week in Opelika

If you rode thru downtown on Monday night you may have been wondering what was going on.  Cafe 123 had another one of their very popular “Wine Pairings”, that’s the third or fourth so far.  Great food and wine with a full house.  And if you happened over to the northside, you would have thought that the Victorian Front Porch Tour had started.  Some folks still out getting the decorations just right for this weeks event. The driving tour is official on Wednesday thru Sunday, with the streets closed for walking and music programs all along 8th Street on Saturday.  I’ll see you out there.

So, some new downtown living space if coming available, that I’ve not discussed here yet.  More on that in a day or so.  And this weekend on Saturday, after you walk the Tour, it’s the Martha’s Trouble Christmas Concert. Rob & Jen have a new Christmas CD that you may want to add to your collection. I suspect they will have some for sale at the Saturday show at Eighth and Rail.

But before that, the fun that is Christmas in a Railroad town is Friday Night. Read Velinda’s Post Here for more information on that event.
