Auditions for “Papa’s Angels”, Union Springs’ Red Door Theatre’s 2013 holiday production,are this coming Sunday, 8/25, and Monday, 8/26. The script has speaking parts for six men, two women and seven children ranging in age from 7-16, five of whom are stair-step in age. Some will need to sing. Children’s ages are flexible; they just need to look close to the age needed. Additional children are needed to fill the elementary school scene. Musicians who play guitar, dulcimer, fiddle, autoharp and/or harmonica are needed. Two backstage crew members will also be selected. The director has planned a great rehearsal schedule to accommodate children’s school commitments, and she doesn’t plan to waste anyone’s time.
