Auburn Wraps Fall Camp With Alumni Day as Golesh’s First Preseason Ends

August 22, 2026 — Auburn, AL

The first fall camp of the Alex Golesh era is in the books. Auburn wrapped preseason work Saturday with a busy alumni and parents’ day at the football facility, where more than 200 former Auburn players returned to the Plains.

The Tigers now shift into game-week preparation ahead of the Sept. 5 season opener against Baylor at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC. Golesh spent the final week of camp praising transfer running back Bryson Washington, who he said has ‘come a long way’ since camp opened after an injury-shortened spring.
