AUBURN — Auburn University’s trustees approved a tuition increase for the fall of 2027 at their Sept. 11 quarterly meeting, part of a new $2.12 billion budget for fiscal year 2027.

In-state undergraduate tuition rises 2%, or $271, taking the yearly figure from $13,572 to $13,843. Out-of-state tuition rises 5%, or $1,879, from $37,596 to $39,475. Auburn University at Montgomery’s tuition goes up 3%.

The board also acted on housing rental rates and Tiger Dining rates for the 2027-2028 academic year, according to the meeting agenda.
