Auburn soccer is back home tonight, Thursday, Oct. 1, to host No. 13 Tennessee at 6 p.m. CT at the Auburn Soccer Complex. It’s the Tigers’ annual Kick Out Cancer match and their first national TV game of the season, on the SEC Network.
Auburn (6-2-3) lost 1-0 at Arkansas on Sunday on a 20th-minute goal. Even so, the Tigers have given up only three goals all season, the fewest through 11 matches in program history. Tennessee (6-1-3, 1-1-2 SEC) is coming off its first loss, 3-1 to No. 3 Vanderbilt.
“We will need the Auburn family to be out here loud,” head coach James Armstrong said. Auburn won the last meeting 3-2 in Knoxville in 2024. Tennessee leads the series 13-12-4, and a win would give Auburn three straight over the Lady Vols, matching its longest streak in the series.
Pink Auburn trucker hats will be handed out while supplies last.
