Auburn Soccer Closes Non-Conference Play Unbeaten With 0-0 Draw at Samford

September 6, 2026 — Birmingham, AL

Auburn soccer finished its non-conference schedule without a loss, battling Samford to a scoreless draw Sunday night at Shauna Yelton Field. The Tigers outshot the Bulldogs 22-10 and took nine corner kicks to Samford’s four.

The result made Auburn one of only four teams in program history to reach this point of a season unbeaten, and it came after a 1-0 win at UAB on Thursday on Ellie Rebmann’s first goal in an Auburn uniform, set up by Ava Caldwell.

SEC play is next for a team that has already matched a large share of last year’s shutout total.
