Auburn Football: Three Tigers Named Preseason All-SEC, Led by Xavier Atkins

July 24, 2026 — Auburn, AL

Junior linebacker Xavier Atkins led three Auburn football student-athletes named to the Preseason All-SEC Team, as announced Friday by the Southeastern Conference. Atkins headlines the selections after a breakout 2025 season, and he was joined by two other Tigers in earning preseason All-SEC honors.

With fall camp opening August 4 and the season opener against Baylor in the Aflac Kickoff Game on September 5, the recognition gives the Auburn Tigers momentum as they enter the Alex Golesh era.
