Alabamians Will Vote on Four Statewide Constitutional Amendments in November

The Alabama Fair Ballot Commission met at the State Capitol on Tuesday and approved the plain-language statements that will describe four statewide constitutional amendments on the Nov. 3 general election ballot.

The commission’s job is to draft the summaries voters actually read at the polls. All four amendments will appear on ballots statewide, and each requires a simple majority to pass.

Ballot statements are posted by the Secretary of State’s office at sos.alabama.gov.
