Okay, if you know me, 6AM on Saturday is not on my clock or calendar! But today, I was up and off to a neighbors to let the dogs out. Yep, it’s me “Who”, I let the dogs out for friends when they travel to faraway places. Then back to tidy up a bit before my friend and cleaning lady came to dust up a bit at the house.
It’s pretty hot today! It’s 3PM as I write this and it’s just crossed 91 degrees. Now, just stating the facts here, as I will not complain about the summer weather at all, after the winter we’ve just had. I did the transition to shorts several weeks ago and if I remember to always have a clean pair handy, don’t look for jeans for several months!
I caught some World Cup Soccer earlier, although some of my friends have not caught the fever yet. Maybe the Sunday game against Portugal or the Thursday 11AM game vs Germany will get them involved. I mean really, a legit reason to drink at beer at 11AM Central on a Thursday! We’re either moving our Sales Call this week, or I’m taking a vacation day! USA – USA –USA! I don’t really understand everything going on, but I’m hooked. And really, weren’t you glad to see Iran loose today!
Finally some good things (aka Sci Fi things) have returned this weekend. Lack of money in the pocket, keeps you close to the Hobbit and what the guys at Amazon Prime have to watch for free. I Love Amazon Prime, but that is for another discussion, as I have just opened the last Miller High Life and will return home soon! Enjoy your weekend!
