Opelika – A Hangout for Swimmers

Well, this headline from the AuburnTigers.com website explained some visitors to Opelika’s resturant’s the past few days!  Auburn Set to Host NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships. Monday Night members of the Auburn university Swim Team were having dinner at Ma Fia’s downtown.  On Tuesday, the Team from Georgia and Penn State made it to the Italian place for dinner as well. In fact, the nice weather made for a great gathering for the Georgia Team on the Patio.  Looks to be a great event in Auburn, so you can follow it with this link.  It was a few weeks ago, when the AU Swim Team Coach was having dinner with his wife and said he would bring the team back.  He did, and apparenlty invited a few others as well. Thanks Brett and good luck in the tourney in this your third year as coach of the team!
